As you can see little one traced an alligator, rabbit, and gorilla onto the canvas. Check out this video of him coloring a pink rabbit.
Little one learned to read the following words in Spanish as well as the colors:
- caballo
- cocodrilo
- conejo
- vaca
- león
- elefante
- zorra
- oso
- burro
Omgoodness, I just picked up some blank canvasses a few days ago, with no particular project in mind, but just knowing that a good one would present itself eventually. And here it is! What a fun idea!
As for your question, re: our kids' fave Eric Carle book: I don't think my daughter has a fave (she loves all books!), but I have to tell you that, as a Speech Pathologist, I have had "breakthrough" moments with several young clients over the years with "Brown Bear, Brown Bear." There's just something magical about that book!
Hello Julie! Now you know what to do with the canvasses that you have. 🙂 Wow! I'm pretty sure you've felt really amazing when your clients had their breakthrough. "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" was actually the 1st Eric Carle book that I bought for my son. It's still a fave at home! Thanks for stopping by!
Great idea!
