You have the coolest ideas Frances! I love your weekly planner and those month posters are adorable. We've given up on Spanish for the time being because it looks like we'll all be trying to learn Nyanja when we move but I plan to adapt a lot of your activities for that!
Great ideas! Just remember that the days of the week and the months of the year in Spanish begin with lower case letters.
Thanks for pointing that out Lizaida! The monthly calendar was from an actual magazine in Spanish (go figure!); and you're right that the week and the months of the year in Spanish begin with lower case letters. It totally slipped my mind when typing and printing the days of the weeks. I will make a note on the blog post about it. ¡Gracias!
Thank you! Awe sad to hear that you won't pursue Spanish with the girls; and good luck with learning Nyanja! Sounds interesting. 🙂
Great idea! These are sometimes tough concepts for kids to get. I like the idea of reinforcing them every day, especially in Spanish!
Days of the week and months of the year are lowercase in Spanish.
Hello Kiley! If you actually read my post you will see a note at the top of my post with this:
"Please note: The week and the months of the year in Spanish begin with lower case letters. However, the monthly calendar pages that I laminated came from an actual magazine in Spanish (go figure!); and while typing and printing the days of the weeks, I too mistakenly typed them with a capital letter. Please remember that the days of the week, and months are ALL in lower case letters."
Thank you for stopping by!
