Our Spanish text-rich home. I’m taking this reading in Spanish business serious! I’m determined to raise not only a bilingual child but a biliterate one as well.

Thank you Jenny from Spanish Playground for your post on Multicultural Kids Blog that has inspired me to do this at home.  We’re working on one of our goals for the New Year

What tips would you share to help your child to read in another language?

  1. Looks great! I like how you put the flashcards in the corresponding places of the house! We actually have that set of cards and I think I'm going to try your idea. Also, love the new button! 🙂

  2. This looks great Frances!! I'm busy trying to teach my girls Kikaonde and I've been meaning to start labeling everything in the house – this post might just be the push I needed! Thank you!

  3. Love it! daisuki! My tip is that we do it every day (read!) 🙂
